How CompareTexts Handles Your Data

CompareTexts is designed to run entirely in your browser. The text you paste, upload, or generate is processed locally on your device and does not leave your browser. We do not operate servers that store your comparisons, and we do not log the content of any document you work with.

The app may store minimal preferences in your browser storage (for example, theme or layout). This data never leaves your device.

Hosting & security logs

To deliver the website securely and reliably, our hosting or CDN provider may temporarily process limited request metadata such as IP address, user-agent, and basic diagnostics. This is standard for serving any website and helps with routing, performance, and abuse prevention. We do not use this information to profile users.

Email Support & Service Providers

If you contact us by email, your message is relayed through a transactional email provider configured via environment variables (for example, services like Resend or Postmark, or a custom webhook). Support emails are retained only as long as needed to resolve your request and are not used for marketing.
